DTSD is very excited to welcome students back into our buildings for a full in-person, five-day-a-week learning environment in August of 2021. COVID-19 Updates and Information Fall 2021. If it was taken care of better, then less kids would have to miss school due to illnesses as a result. I believe that is why people get sick very often during the school year.
There is constantly leaks in the ceiling or mold growing in the ceiling. The worst part of my experience has been the upkeep of the school itself. The best part of my experience so far as a student at Lower Dauphin High School has been being able to obtain knowledge in specific elective classes, such as AP Psychology. I also have had the privilege of playing on the field hockey team, this team has taught me a lot about hard work, determination, and the importance of team culture. The tip line is operated and monitored 24/7 by the Office of the Attorney General. I was fortunate enough to be able to take many interesting and educational classes that were taught by teachers that truly loved what they did. All schools in Pennsylvania, including Derry Township School District, have adopted use of the Safe2Say Something anonymous tip line as a means of improving campus safety and improving school climate. Senior: As an upcoming senior, I have a lot of experience in this school.
